I recently realised that I haven't blogged a wedding since before Christmas! I've had so many awesome weddings this year, and I've been working so much, that things like blogging and posting to social media have fallen to the way side. But TODAY'S THE DAY. So buckle up guys. This one's a good one!

Kendal & Ash. Where do I even begin?

Actually I'm having a hard time putting all the magic into words, so I'll just list the highlights, so we can get to the pretty pictures!

  • Baby Franklin & his cute little outfit. And all the love he gets from everyone around him
  • The Vibe. So many Uni friends there to celebrate with them, it made me wish I went to Uni, just so I could make all the social connections
  • Catching up with couples whose weddings I photographed (Hey Margot & Liam, Charlotte & Sam!)
  • The photo session location - forest, long grasses, water ways & mountains views
  • Working with Kendal & Ash + their crew - so much fun!
  • The rad tipi marquee
  • One of the best first dances ever.

Honestly, I had such a blast with these guys!

Right, now for the vendor appreciation and to hear from the couples themselves.

Who did your make-up?

Berry Beauty - Katie Berry. You know Katie well so you know how amazingly talented this girl is. LOVED my makeup. (she's right - Katie is AMAZING)

Who was on hair?

Hair by Ashlee - Ashlee Gregory. Ash was recommended by Katie and she was great, I showed her a few photos and she went from there

Where did you get your outfits?

Ash - Barkers (pants and shirt) and the waistcoat was from the UK - Harris Tweed Kendal - Alamour (Aussie label)

Who did your flowers?

My sister - Kelsey Pratt. So much talent! She also did our archway. My bridesmaid Hailey Shaw did the flowers down the aisle in the big vases.

Who was your celebrant?

CeCe James - absolute delight with a great sense of humour.

Who was the band/music?

The Little Big Men- amazing, the dance floor was never empty the whole night!!

Who did your catering?

Foothills Catering - delicious, honestly how good was the food? I hope you enjoyed it!!!

Who made your wedding cake, and was it delicious?

My other sister - Kayla Pratt (sooooo delicious, I ate the rest of it the week following. It honestly got better with age) I have two insanely talented sisters so I was super lucky they were able to help me out. Both were massive jobs for sure!

Are there any other vendors that you think did a fabulous job that you'd like to give a shout out to?

Gather & Gold - the tipi company from Wanaka. Sarah and Liane were awesome to deal with. Made the setup so easy for us.

And lastly - not vendor related, but can you tell me what the most special part of your day was?

Ash - his favourite part was the ceremony itself, seeing me walk down the aisle. In Ash's words 'It felt like full tunnel vision and felt like no one else was present, just me and you". Kendal - mine was seeing Ash and Franklin waiting at the end of the aisle for me, knowing we were all going to be Hickman's in less than 30mins :)

Awww!
