How on earth is it April already? This year has gone so fast in a whirlwind of wedding dresses and bouquets! I haven't been blogging many of my weddings this year, due to time constraints, but I couldn't resist blogging this beaut of a day.
It all started when Ellen thought it would be funny to swipe right on a dude with a name that sounds the same. They hit it off, and three years later we got to celebrate with them at their gorgeous wedding! (My directions for them sounded a little weird - "girl Ellen, snuggle in close, boy Alan, breathe her in. Great! Now girl Ellen throw your hands around his neck, boy Alan get a little closer to her.")
There were so many wonderful things about this day - The gorgeous set up, the personal touches, the fun wedding party, the beautiful (brief) sunset (and capturing the moment that Ellen realised that the bulls in the paddock we were in were crowding in on us) the music, the food and my favourite - the many family hugs I witnessed. Also, Ellen's smile can light up a whole room!
It was a banger of a day and I had a lot of fun shooting it!
